Do not forget Pete Brown’s Bird Walk this Saturday, 20th November, starting at 0830 at Archer Road Entrance.
About 2 hours with Pete’s conducted tour through the park and back through Ecclesall Woods.
Always a good walk but do wrap up well!
Christmas Friends’ Gathering
This will take place in the ROBIN HOOD on Millhouses Lane on Wednesday 8th December from 8pm onwards. All are invited to attend this event which will be shared with our friends from the Carterknowle and Millhouses Community Group.
Do feel free to join us to celebrate a very successful year in the park and what promises to be an even better 2011.

New Kid’s Cycle Track
Here are some images and a video to show a similar scheme which has been installed in Macclesfield. The Millhouses Park scheme will be slightly different – watch this space for the first chance to see the plans!
The cycle track will take the land previously used for the old playground, next to the existing skate park.
This will give younger children a more suitable area to play on bikes and scooters etc… and free up the skate park for serious users!
