February Half Term Events!
Two great events are happening in our park in the week starting February 20th!
1) The Living Willow Den Building – Planting and weaving LIVING willow play dens and tunnels on 21st and 22nd February. EVERYONE can get involved!
2) Community Tree Planting – Heavy standard tree planting along the ‘race-course’ fencing in the top of the park on 22nd February. Willing helpers of all ages welcome!

The ‘Christmas In The Park’ event has been cancelled by the organisers due to severe weather warnings in place for this weekend.

Christmas Friends’ Gathering
This will take place in the ROBIN HOOD on Millhouses Lane on Wednesday 8th December from 8pm onwards. All are invited to attend this event which will be shared with our friends from the Carterknowle and Millhouses Community Group.
Do feel free to join us to celebrate a very successful year in the park and what promises to be an even better 2011.

Park Veterinary Hospital will be holding their Charity Fun Day on 7th November between 12 and 4pm in the park…
Watch out for Pets’ Corner, Flyball Displays, Dogs & Ducks, Barbeque, Stalls, a Dog Show and more!
Free admission too!

Pizza in the Park – Saturday 21st August
Come and see Danny West on Saturday in Millhouses Park as he promotes food making and healthy eating for children…
Danny will be doing some real ‘hands-on’ food-making this weekend and there will even be a chance to get your face painted! He’s also confirmed that there will be some African Drumming workshops! All this between 12noon and 5pm on Saturday in the playground area! Don’t miss out!
