Millhouses Works Cricket Club Summer Coaching Programme for 7-13 year olds is now well underway with sessions on WEDNESDAY EVENINGS at Millhouses Park Cricket Ground from 6:15pm until 7:45pm.

The cost is just £2 per child, per session.

MWCC is an ECB Focus Club and Clubmark-accredited. These sessions are run by Qualified Coaches and vetted volunteers.

Is your child the next Kevin Pieterson or Jimmy Anderson? Bring them along and find out!

In 2012, Millhouses Works Cricket Club will be entering 4 teams in the Sheffield and District Junior Cricket League.

These will be: Under 11s, Under 13s, Under 15s and (after a long absence) Under 17s. A squad of Under 9s will also be maintained throughout the summer.

The Miller – April 2011

Don’t forget that Millhouses Park’s very own Cricket Club will be offering a Cricket Coaching Programme this summer – make sure you don’t miss out!

Millhouses Works CC Junior Cricket Coaching sessions are now being run at Mylnhurst School, Button Hill, Ecclesall on Sunday mornings, 10.20am until 11.20 am.

The cost is just £1 and the sessions are open to children of all ages and abilities. Just turn up on the day!

The week is to take place on Sunday Aug 1st to Friday Aug 6^th at Millhouses Park Cricket Ground.

The main events are:

1.30pm Sunday 1st Aug – MWCC v YDCL Representative team

6pm Tuesday 3rd Aug – MWCC v The Millhouses Legends (T20)

6pm Thursday 5th August – MWCC v Radio Sheffield Celebrity XI – T20

11am Friday 6th August – MWCC v The MCC, followed by the 150th anniversary dinner in the Waggon and Horses.
