Sunday 11th May 2014 was set for a river clean through Millhouses Park together with Sheffield Ranger Service.
As it turned out, the river was swollen after heavy overnight rain so we used the time to carry out a deep litter pick from Archer Road up to and round the Café area. 20 willing volunteers turned out to brave the weather and over 20 bags of litter were collected.
Thanks to all who attended, the Rangers and Pete Stow who organised the event.
Hi 🙂 thank you so much for cleaning the river. If I’d have known this was going to happen I would’ve contributed so, hopefulelly by me leaving my email you won’t hesitate to let me know if any help is needed. If only people gave more consideration to the environment.
