Yes, the rivers authority have stun counted the fish along the fish pass and whilst we do not have any data we are told there is a good selection of small fish, cray fish and other species populating the Fish Pass. We have not had any reports of trout sized fish as yet but we don’t often see them in the main river either!
Thank you for that. I often walk along the pipe but have only ever seen one brown trout – 6″ long? – near the top pool. Do the fish tend to travel at night?
