Friends of Millhouses Park 
I brought this problem to the council’s attention almost two years ago and was dismayed by the lack of interest (Christopher Roebuck claims people can just use the fences, in contravention of the South Yorkshire Police’s advice about bike security).

Two stands are not enough!
Thanks for your comment Adam. Unfortunately, in the current economic climate any improvement made to the park has to have funding sourced by the Friends of Millhouses Park. Over the last 2 years we have raised over £150,000 for improvements and installations. If we want any further investment the first question has to be ‘Where does the money come from?’ as the council does not have any legal obligation to fund parks.
