We’ve been getting some great reviews on Trip Advisor recently! Don’t forget to add yours! Here are a few examples…
“Maggi S” – “Whoever designed the play area at Millhouses park deserves a medal. It is stunning for the kids and so much fun. I especially like the amazing interactive water features.”
“Molloi” – “Millhouses has always been the best ‘fun’ park in Sheffield. From the days of yore when it had a massive outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool to modern times when it has an amazing German engineered water play area.
Add to that the outdoor gym, the scooter race track, the zip rope, the climbing area, the swings and assault course and not to mention the duck pond (now with added pedalos!) this can make a summers day a memorable one for all the family. The cafe overlooking the duck pond is also excellent and has a great atmosphere”
“KentLassKent” – “An outstanding park facility for families and couples alike. The variety of things to do for children is excellent. The park is clean and well tended and a very safe place for young children to play.”
“Trudie1979” – “one word sums this place up ” Fantastic” ! My sons will grow up with fantastic memories from here! The scooter park, paddling river, water play, lake, park and not forgetting The Pudding Ladies…and bouncy castles….the added excitement for my 3 year old is watching the trains pass !”
We’re sure that you’ll agree that these reflect the hard work carried out by the Friends over the past years! Now go over to Trip Advisor and put a review of your own on the site! Just follow the link on the right of this page!

From the Sheffield Star on Monday 6th August:
“Volunteers have done their bit to spruce up one of Sheffields most popular parks and had their hard work rewarded with free drinks at the local pub. Friends of Millhouses Park gave up hours of their time to weed, dig and tidy up shrubbery in a bid to prepare it for the busy school holiday period. Nearby pub The Waggon and Horses then welcomed the green fingered group inside and replenished their energy with free drinks.”
