Millhouses park is easy to find, located in the south west of Sheffield, adjacent to the Abbeydale Road South (A621).
By car
SatNav: You can use the postcode for the Wagon and Horses pub (S7 2QQ) to locate the park. Otherwise, from Sheffield City simply follow signposts for the A621 Bakewell.

There are free car parks near each end of the park, and you can also park free of charge on Abbeydale Road South.
By bus
Millhouses Park is very well served by Sheffield’s bus network. First, Stagecoach and TMC all provide services to the park entrances.
In Sheffield City Centre, you can catch First services 97/98 from Waingate (by the market), High Street (outside TJ Hughes store/Nat West Bank), Pinstone Street (Peace Gardens), Charter Row (Debenhams) and Moorfoot, Cumberland Street. For timetable and route click this link: 97 98 Sheffield

By train
Dore and Totley railway station is about a mile from the park either on foot, or by buses 97/98 & 218 (use the stop on the opposite side of the road to the station).
Trains run to/from Sheffield, Grindleford, Hathersage, Bamford, Hope, Edale, Chinley, New Mills, (and Marple, Romiley, Bredbury, Reddish and Manchester Piccadilly, all in Greater Manchester.)

Accessibility
Millhouses park is 100% accessible. Level entrances are located at The Mill Buildings, Cricket Ground, Play Area, Gardens, Boating Lake and at the Southern end of the Park. Those wishing level access from the bus stops on Archer Road should enter the park via The Mill Buildings entrance (approx 30 metres from the Archer Road entrance on Abbeydale Road).
All facilities in the park are accessible with level access. Of particular interest will be the new sensory garden and the formal gardens.
